It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Hey Ladies and Jelly Spoons!

Sooo...after a million emails and run-arounds...it turns out that my website, crimsonsonata.com...no longer exists :/ I paid for the domain to be registered again for the next couple of years...but somehow someone screwed up along the way and now the domain is registered to someone in Australia -__- I tried to get it back but I have no way of getting a hold of the person that currently holds the domain. The domain is up for grabs in a year, though...so I hope to get it back when it is available...

Until then, I got a brand new domain

And the site is updated and all new and shiny...and simple. I'm happy with the look and it's a lot easier to navigate. So...for now my personal online portfolio will be located at this site below:

I use Dreamhost, and they have pretty much unlimited everything for about $10/month. it's pretty sweet. I host like 10 domains there.

Wow! I really like your domain, even though it's probably not what you wanted, I still think that it's far more impressive than what I've got going on. ;3 Also, I'm a little jealous of how successful you are. You've worked for so many companies that I'd only dream of getting into.
