ALRIGHT FOLKS! There is a lot of information to go thru here, but it's all very important to creating a proper Zodiac God Mael'Kai :3 So please, take your time and at least read thru the main points so there is no confusion and what not. Mael'Kai horns can be different in shape and size *younger they are smaller they are though*. NORMAL Mael'Kai horn styles are similar to each other *as in the reference sheet above* But ZODIAC Mael'Kai may have slightly altered horn styles if you'd like *not required*

The Mael'Kai are a kind of dragon like race, an offshoot if you will of a true form dragon but with more human characteristics, and reside on the planet Evora. Some believe the Mael'Kai to be an evolved species of the old Half-Breed dragons (What Sayda Is), a mix of Dragons and a human race known as the Rui'nt. But this race has long since been forgotten since the Half-Breeds, Rui'nts, and the Dragons no longer exist on Evora and haven’t for thousands of years.
Their only physical difference from the Rui'nt race is that they have horns, thin wispy lizard like tails, and their ears are like that of a goat with curly hair on the inside of them and they face downwards. Some of the folk stories say that Mael'Kai even have the ability to grow wings...but no one really knows for certain, to most it's just a tall-tale.

Age Expectancy: The Mael'Kai life span reaches a max age of about 300 years. Mael'Kai don't reach puberty untill they are about 50 years of age and once they reach 100 their physical appearence slows down from changing to almost a crawl untill they reach about 250.
Mael'Kai Zodiacs ARE still affected by age, but they will live untill the War Eternal has ended, even if that's past the age expectancy of a normal Mael'Kai. If they reach 250 years of age, a Zodiac Mael'Kai will NOT start to get old untill AFTER the War is over.

THE STORY: ZODIACS OF THE WAR ETERNAL

Alright, here are the basics. This hasn't been completely fleshed out, so bare with me. I'll add more when it comes to me but if you have any questions just note me.

ON THE ES'VA'EN (PRONOUNCED: S ' VAH ' N)
The War Eternal was given it's name due to the great length the war has been waged. The war had started about 150 years prior from present day and is still currently being fought on Evora. The war started when an unkown race of creatures began to appear across Evora's largest moon, Freyer. These creatures, that have been deamed the Es'va'en, used unkown means *some think teleportation of some sort* to reach the planet Evora where they began to create a storm of chaos and destruction. The Es'va'en swarmed the planet without warning and killed anything and everything in their path. There was no motives to their destruction and it has yet to be determined what the Es'va'en are after. Most think they are just out to destroy everything on the planet and move on from there while some think there may be other motives behind their carnage. The Mael'Kai also have deamed the Es'va'en as demons from Sin'Fen(hell) though no one really knows for certain.
ES'VA'EN IMAGES
01 Large Size To defeat a large sized Es'va'en, it takes normally multiple armies to defeat the creature and the battle can last for hours and ends with the Es'va'en just being pushed back but never defeated. For the Zodiac gods it takes a large amount of them to defeat an Es'va'en of large proportions. Usually about 20 to 30 working together. This as well can take hours and may or may not end in the Es'va'en's death.
02 Medium Size To defeat a medium sized Es'va'en, it takes multiple armies to defeat the creature but doesn't take nearly as long to push the creature back and make it retreat. No army has every killed a Medium sized Es'va'en. For the Zodiac Gods it takes a fair amount of them to defeat an Es'va'en of medium proportions. Usually about 10 to 15 working together. This doesn't take as long as with the large sized and usually results in the death of the Es'va'en.
03 Small Size To defeat a small sized Es'va'en, it takes normally one army to defeat the creature in an hour time span. Small sized Es'va'en are not very powerfull but it takes at least up to 3 Zodiac Gods to dispose of the creature with ease. A Single Zodiac God may beable to take out a small sized Es'va'en on their own but not without sustaining serious injuries.
The Es'va'en usually come in various sizes ranging from dog sized to as large as tall buildings. The more powerfull an Es'va'en is determined by how long their lower jaw is: the longer, the more powerful the Es'va'en, and usually the bigger as well - but that's not always true.
Over the past years the Mael'Kai have been able to fight back the Es'va'en, but not with out many losses and hardships. The Queen's army has just barely the means to defeat the Es'va'en during every wave they appear *waves tend to happen every 10 to 15 years up till present day* but as the years wear on the Es'va'en get more powerful.

ON THE ZODIAC GODS
On the first day the Es'va'en appeared on Evora, Fayed Renclaive was born. He bore a strange marking that no one had ever seen before besides the elders of Evora. This marking had been seen by the elders in ancient texts found deep in caves and in old ruins. It is beleived that this was an omen from the Goddess herself and as more children turned up over the years with markings of differnt kinds, the idea of some godly power was made very apparent. These children would soon be known as the Zodiac Gods by some due to the great power each child weilded. Each marking represented something different and each child had different abilities...and these powers they had were soon realized as the Mael'Kai's salvation since the Mael'Kai Zodiac's could easily stand up to the deadly Es'va'en.
Though it is beleived by some that those born with the marks will be the saviours of the Mael'Kai race and beable to destroy the Es'va'en, there are still some that are not as hopefull. Some feel they might have been the cause, but none knows for certain.
The Zodiac children, those born with zodiac symbols, are the reincarnation of the actuall Zodiac Gods. Therefore, they ARE in respect, THE Zodiac Gods. Their 'Super Forms' are where they unleash the true power of the Zodiac God and become more 'Godly' in appearence.

ON THE SUPER FORMS/GOD FORMS
When a Zodiac Mael'Kai transforms into their "Super Form", this is really also their "God Form". The true power of their Zodiac abilities come thru in this form and this is the form they use to fight off the Es'va'en. In this 'Super Form' the Zodiac shines thru more in the clothing, magic *if used*, and weaponry *if used*. Their appearence DOES NOT have to look like their Zodiac animal, just the asthetics of their clothes, wepaons, and magic powers should be geared towards the Mael'Kai's specific Zodiac.

ON THE WAR IN PRESENT DAY
In the present day of Evora a new wave of Es'va'en have appeared and they seem to be at their deadliest. And once again the Zodiac's gather to defend their planet at all costs. You, as a Zodiac, must gather with your allies to fight off the creatures and try to put an end to the great War Eternal once and for all! So...take up arms and ready yourselves...the demons have come and are out for blood...

THE ZODIAC NAMES

A rare few of the Mael'Kai are actually named after Zodiac symbols that they were born under. There are only a few with these unique names because there is only one born child per zodiac. Each child born under a specific zodiac has branded on them at birth the actual zodiac symbol somewhere on their bodies. The Mael'Kai know of the zodiac's thru ancient texts found in old caves and ruins from an old and forgotten race. From the texts the elders found that there was mentioning of the constellations in the sky and they coincided with the markings on the children born during the War Eternal. Since they had no other means to explain what was happening they used the zodiacs written in the old texts to label the children under that shared the same markings.

THE PLANET EVORA

Evora is the home world that the Mael'Kai race resides upon and they are the most intelligent race on the planet. The Mael'Kai race and other creatures that live upon the planet are, as well, known as Evorian's. The technology upon Evora is not that advanced most working machines are powered by steam, gears and clockwork, and some very minimal animal power. Also, there is no electricity or any form of computer like technology found anywhere on the planet.

The planet has various forms of regions such as desert, plains, rainforests, artic tundra, and so forth, but the majority of the planet is covered in large thick forested areas and ocean. These forests are very old and contain massive tall standing trees which the Mael'Kai race uses to build their homes in. Most of the race prefer to live within these forested areas up in the trees but there are some Mael'Kai that do actually live in other regions of the world and prefer to live on the ground.

For forms of transportation, the Mael'Kai race is fairly limited. They mainly use animals to travel across the land from one point to another as well as large caravans, but they also use large steam powered air ships to sail the skies and trade with others on various continents around the world. The reason for airships is because the oceans of Evora are inhabited by large sea creatures and sea serpents that would easily destroy a sailing ship and many Mael'Kai had lost their lives to the sea when they first created ships to sail across them. So, utilizing the power of steam, the Mael'Kai were able to find a means of crossing the oceans without actually having to be near them; and that was with the air ships. Smaller airships are available as well for smaller transport, but unless you are planning on trying to reach another continent then the most readily available and cheapest form of transportation is by animal.

The ruling body of Evora is based around that of a ruling Queen, no males are allowed to rule. This is because the Mael'Kai holds women up with the most respect, seen as almost divine creatures since their religious figure appears to them as a Goddess and not a God. For a Mael'Kai to become Queen, she must be the daughter of the current Queen and also must have a husband to rule by her side. The Queen is highly respected by the Mael'Kai race and also rules with an iron fist. Though she is loving towards her people, she must also be strong and ready to take action. The current Queen of Evora is Lady Fianna.

The Evorian religion is referred to as Min-Sai, which is also what the Evorian 'heaven' is referred to as (and the Evorian hell is known as Sin-Fen). The priestesses of Min-Sai are given just about the same respect that is given to the Queen, being very important to the Mael'Kai race as religious figures. There are also male priests, though rare, but not unheard of. The Priest's and Priestesses are said to be able to talk with the Goddess and are even able to sometimes make premonitions of the future through meditation. Some of the elder Priestesses are referred to as Seers since they have such a strong bond with the world and the Goddess. They are also great healers and known many forms of white style magic. The actual Goddess that the Mael'Kai pray to and follow has no name other then Goddess. She supposedly has an actual name that only the Priestesses know about and it is said that to speak her name is blasphemy.

MAEL'KAI JOB CLASSES

Warhost - The Queens Army
- Kro’nen (Crusader Type): The Kro'nen soldiers are pretty much like the Nyte's only they have various forms of magic at their disposal

- Nyte (Knight Type): Nyte's of the Warhost are some of the most feared warriors in all of Evora. They usually are part of a respectable family who has had a long line of Nyte's in their heritage. The Nyte's of the Warhost are made up of mainly just male's, but some females have been known to become part of the Nyte class as well.

- Ark’nen (Archer Type): The Ark'nen is made up of the queens finest Archers. Their skills with long ranged weapons are practically no match for anyone else in all of Evora.

Wordhost - The Queens Council and Bookkeepers
- Scrye (Scholars): The Scrye are appointed scholars by the Queen herself. They do most of the record keeping and such for Evora

- Adven (Advisors): These are the personal advisors to the Queen and some of her most closest confidants

Watchhost - The Priesthood of Min’Sai
- Sai’Fei (Priestesses):Sai'Fei is the term placed before the Priestesses first name "Sai'Fei Reana". The Priestesses of Min'Sai are held with very much respect in Evora. They have slight abilities to speak with the Goddess and are the premeir healers in Evora with their strong white style magic.

- Sai'Fen (Priests): Sai'Fei is the term placed before the Priests first name "Sai'Fei Mandrid". The Priests of Min'Sai are held with very much respect in Evora. They have slight abilities to speak with the Goddess and are the premeir healers in Evora with their strong white style magic.

- Monks: Monks are priestly types that dress in less ornate and 'nice' looking clothes. They have the same abilities as any Priest or Priestess but they also are trained in various styles of hand to hand combat.

Various Jobs
- Merchants

- Healers (doctors, medics, ect. can be magic and non-magic based)

- Traders

- Blacksmiths

- Entertainers (dancers, bards, etc.)

- Gypsys

- Sky Pirates

- Thiefs

Warrior Types
- Mant'or (Fighter/Ranger Type): Any form of fighter types that use various forms of weapons; swords, bows, gauntlets, ect.

- Rojin (Mercanary/Assassin Type): Rojin are guns for hire and will do anything for a quick buck. They are also skilled in any and all forms of fighting.

- Magi (Mage Type) Use only white style magic like healing and or defensive magic. Magi have some fighting skills but rely more on others in battle.

- Wyle (Witch/Warlock Type) Use only black style magic. Wyle's rarely use any weapons or fighting skills since most of their magic is what they use to battle with. Magic tends to align to different elements and a Wyle will usually only devote themselves to one element of magic.

- Nojin (Ninja Type): The Nojin consist of a small group that uses extreme forms of stealth and are said to even beable to dissapear into thin air. The Nojin usually work in forms of assassination or spy work *espionage*

- Guria (Samurai Type) The Guria tend to serve the Priesthood and sometimes are hired by the Queen, but they can also be hired by lords all over Evora to serve as protectors and bodyguards. The Guria also follow a strong moral code and usually only use sleek weapons like katana swords or Daisho.


REQUESTING A MAEL'KAI

When creating a Zodiac Mael'Kai, they MUST have the zodiac symbol somewhere on their skin - for zodiacs that don't have apparent symbols such as the Celtic and Native American zodiacs, you will have to make up your own symbols.
All Zodiac Mael'Kai have 'Super Forms' that they use when doing battle with the Es'va'en. In these super forms the Mael'Kai's true power shows. ALL Zodiac Mael'Kai HAVE dragon wings in their 'super forms', but NOT in their normal forms.
The Zodiac Mael'Kai MUST be oriented in various ways towards their respective zodiacs. IE: Try to make sure your Zodiac's abilities and or weapons are geared towards what you can find in their Actuall Zodiac.
EXAMPLE: Virgo is an earth element Zodiac and is also based around good health and life. Hence the Zodiac Mael'Kai for Virgo is a magic user that heals people and uses various forms of Earth elemental magics in defense. Also her color scheme resembles that of Earth tones, but that is not a requirment.

If you would like to make a Zodiac character, NOTE ME!! It will be on a first come first serve basis and there is a LIMITED amount of Zodiac's to choose from. Also, I am putting a time limit on how long you can hold out on a Zodiac name without actually creating an image for one! This means that if you choose a Zodiac but don't actually DRAW an image of him/her in the alloted time specified, I'll take the name back and reopen it for someone else to pick up. No exceptions! The time limit will probably be about a 2 month span.

IMPORTANT! If you wish to do more than ONE Zodiac character then you must ask me and give me good reason to allow you to do multiple characters. Since there is such a limited amount of Zodiacs for people to choose from I want to limit the amount people take for themselves to be at least fair to all those who would like to create a character for themselves.
IM LIMITING THIS TO NO MORE THEN TWO ZODIACS PER PERSON!!

NOTE: You are MORE then welcome to create a Mael'Kai, though, that ISN'T a Zodiac God. All the info is the same except the character has no super form or Zodiac relation/marking. If you want to create just a normal Mael'Kai, still let me know :3
