This is a peice I did for my friend, Dragon's, birthday (yes, that is him in the picture xD ) :3 I was greatly inspired by a photograph of him taken by the OH so very talented Jaqui Wujec - You can find more of her work over at: [link] - If you roll over the image above you can see the original photo she took that I had painted over for this peice.

I guess you could call this a photo manipulation...but I decided that there was so much work done to the original image that I'd place it under the digital art catagory instead.

But well...this was another experiment for me...and I am rather fond of the results. Unfortunatly, though, the original comp I did this on used an LCD monitor...so this image may appear REALLY dark to you...a lot of the detail was lost...which is rather upsetting...but it's only like that on some computers. Hopefully it's not tooo bad o_o;;
